I had PA Velox 420 DWD and was the car that gave me the most pleasure to drive. The bench seat and a column change, girls wore skirts and stockings and not jeans--- happy days!!!

Chick at beginning is gorgeous. Where is she now? I remember the Psychobilly/Rockabilly weekend at Hemsby that year.

Hey mate. I’m from Australia and I’ve got 2 pa’s. Gotta say,,, fantastic looking cars they are. How is parts availability going for you lads in the uk. Parts pop up here every now and then but they’re few and far between and sourcing good stuff is becoming increasingly more difficult. Thankfully being the fairly resourceful guy I am I’ve managed to stock up nearly doubles of most things but geez do you have to put in the leg work and hunt!

PA was a great car for its time, PB was a good car PC 😔 although better than the competing Ford Zodiac IV which was truly dreadful. By that time Humber were fading out although Chrysler tried to sell the Australian built Valiant in the UK it didn't fit the market so Mercedes, BMW and Audi got a real foot hold

Sadly China dictates the end of use of all combustion cars worldwide. China told our EU politicians that they wont do any business with underdeveloped countries that still allow CO2 emitting traffic or combustion based industry after 2030...I am sure USA and UK also will be forced by China to 100% electric traffic because today no industrialized country can afford sanctions by China.... China just rules the world...:-(

Loved all the Vauxhall’s and had quite a few. Never spent more than a onner . The best thing about most of them, bench seat, column change, plenty of room to get your leg over without getting a gear lever up your arse. Memories!

The first Cresta I saw, was after I had just passed my driving test in the mid 80's and it was a very square looking body shape, almost like an American car, it seemed as big as one and I loved the shape. It was in a local seaside car park and it was an elderly couple in it eating ice creams. It was just like seeing a scene from the 60's being played out in front of me. I asked my dad about it a couple weeks ago, as it just came in to my mind for some reason, but since I saw that one, I had only ever seen photos of the more rounded, more stylish Crestas like these and I think he told me they were the later models of the Cresta. Sorry if I'm wrong, my memory isn't as good these days.
